We review the slab first — age, previous coatings or sealers, oil and contamination, cracking, spalling and moisture-related conditions. This is what determines whether the floor is ready to coat and what preparation it needs.
Diamond grinders mechanically remove surface contamination, laitance and previous finishes, and open the concrete to create the profile the coating needs to bond properly.
Cracks, pits, spalled door edges and minor surface defects are filled and levelled so the finished coating sits on a sound, even surface. Significant structural damage is quoted separately before work starts.

There is no single system that suits every garage. The right build-up depends on the existing concrete, how the space is used, traffic and vehicle weight, moisture conditions in the slab and the finish you want. Most residential floors we install are a layered concrete floor coating: prepared concrete, a resin base coat, decorative flake and a clear protective topcoat.
An epoxy garage floor coating uses a thick-build resin that bonds well to diamond-ground concrete and holds a heavy flake broadcast. Garage epoxy flooring is most often used as the base layer of the system rather than as the exposed wearing surface.
A polyaspartic garage floor uses a fast-curing polyurea-family coating, usually as the clear topcoat over the flake layer. It is generally more UV-stable than epoxy left exposed, and it shortens the installation window — but it has to be applied within a tight working time.
