Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how we build and review this website. We treat accessibility barriers as defects and aim to correct reported issues promptly.

Conformance goal

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we design with Accessible Canada Act and BC accessibility expectations in mind. Our current internal audits report substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA across audited public pages.

Measures we take

  • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a single H1 per page.
  • Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Accessible names and ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and controls.
  • Colour contrast that meets AA thresholds for text and interface elements.
  • Descriptive alt text for meaningful images and captions for product videos.
  • Responsive layouts that support zoom and small screens without loss of content.

Known limitations

  • Some third-party embeds (maps, payment forms, video players) are outside our direct control.
  • Older project gallery photos may have shorter alt text while we complete a content review.
